Black Glutinous Rice (Black Sticky Rice)

A popular grain of sticky rice used in Oriental dishes, especially desserts. Like all rice there are a number of ways to cook it and often its best to stick with a tried and tested method your comfortable with.

Instructions: Wash the rice, soak in warm water for 1 hour and a half or soak in cool water for 9 or 10 hours. Drain water, add salt to taste and place rice in steamer to cook on low heat till done.
