U Cook™ Dhansak Curry Kit (Easy to Cook Dhansak)
Dhansak is a complex sweet & sour parsee curry with lentils. Flavoured with fenugreek leaves.
Medium, add your own chilli to make it hotter as desired or add a little coconut milk for a milder taste.

Empty Dhansak mix in pan with 700ml water & stir well. Add 150g of washed red lentils, stir & bring to the boil. Cover & boil for approx 20 mins. Add 1 kg of ingredients of your choice (e.g chicken, lamb etc) & stir in. Cover & simmer until cooked. Add 2-3 tbsp of sugar, 2 tbsp of lemon juice to Dhansak & salt to taste. Stir well. Adjust consistency with a little water if required. Gently simmer uncovered for 5-10mins. Ensure Dhansak is fully cooked before serving.
