Shan Daal Masala [mix for mild dal lentil curry]

Recipe: Dal Curry
- mung dal 175g
- masoor dal 3 tbsp
- onion 125g
- garlic 10 cloves
- tomato 50g
- green chilli 6-8
- soya leaves 1 tsp
- curry leaves 10 leaves
- ghee/oil half cup
- shan daal mix 2 tbsp
- in half the ghee fry onions for few mins, stir in shan dal and garlic
- add dals, tomato, soya leaves, green chillies, 6 cup water. Boil on low heat until dal tender and smooth
- heat remaing ghee, add curry leaves for few secs and pour it over the dal curry, cover and cook for 15-20 mins.
Ingredients: salt, red chilli, turmeric, black pepper, cumin, coriander, brown cardamom, green cardamom, garlic, ginger, dehydrated dill leaves, citric acid. maltodextrin, hydrolyzed soy protein, cane sugar, canola sugar, canola oil, anticaking agent silicon dioxide.
