You will need:
200g large raw prawns, peeled
1 egg beaten
2 tbsp of oil
Tip: add lime wedges and chopped coriander to finish off the dish.
1[ soak rice noodles in boiling water with a dash of oil for 8-10mins until soft, then drain, rinse in cold water and toss to seperate.
2] heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan, add prawns and stir fry for 2 mins.
3] pour in beaten egg and stirfryfor 2-3 mins until noodles are hot.
4] add sachet of peanuts, shallots and carrots, mix well and serve.
You may substitute prawns with diced chicken or chopped vegetables.

pad thai sauce: sugar, water, shallot, salt, tamarind paste, seasoning sauce [soybean, sugar, salt, wheat], garlic, radish, fish sauce [anchovy extract, salt] dried shrimp, vinegar, caramel colour.
peanut mix: roasted peanuts, fried shallot, dried carrot.
