Dried Whole Shiitake Mushrooms

Simply place the shiitake mushroom in a bowl, cover with boiling water, allow to soften and then add to your desired recipe. Shiitake mushrooms are ideal for soups, stirfries and rice dishes.
The leftover water can be reused in a mushroom stock or similar as the flavour of shiitake will have been infused during rehydrating. You can also grind dried mushrooms with a food processor and use the mushroom powder to flavour sauces and stews
