Madras Curry Sauce by Pataks
Madras is a spicy, concentrated sauce with chilli and roasted cumin. Hot. Serves 4.
Beef Madras: [Also great with lamb, chicken or prawns.]
1] Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan.
2] Add 1 medium diced onion and fry for a few minutes.
3] Add 400g diced beef and stirfry until meat sealed [approx 5 mins].
4] Pour over can of sauce and 400g of canned chopped tomatoes and stir.
5] Simmer for 20 mins stirring occasionally.
Ingredients: water, concentrated tomato puree, vegetable oil, cumin, coriander, onion powder, sugar, spices [contains mustard] modified maize starch, salt, garlic, roasted cumin, ginger, dried crushed chilli, garlic powder.
Suitable for vegetarians.
Free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.
Once opened use immediately.
